In Croatia, the annual average level can be utilized at around 1400 kWh (1.4 MWh) per square meter of solar radiation equivalent to approx. 140 liters of fuel oil or 150m3 of natural gas. The average collector area in solar systems is about 4m2, which ultimately leads to significant energy savings on an annual basis.
